You will need to be at least 16 years old in order to work for Starbucks. There is an exception though. If you live in the state of Montana you are eligible to be employed at 14 years old.

There could be a variety of reasons that sixteen is there minimum age. It could be because of the work restrictions that come along with hiring 14, and 15 year olds. Maybe it is the liability risk involved with hiring younger teens.
